Why should Ty Hill get a pass for doing like an idiot? Next, Ty Hill rolled his window up even though the officer asked him repeatedly to roll it back down, and he refused. Most people gonna follow orders but not Ty Hill. He was dismissive asked for special attention, this was a possible result. At the end of the day, he was not even arrested just "detained" for the traffic violations. The best outcome was him receiving a ticket only, he could have been transported to the station and booked on an open charge. I find that the one officer was aggressive and could have deescalate the situation, so a reprimand could be in order, but that's all at the most.

Tyreek was wrong. Officer overreacted yes, but Tyreek could have simply kept his glass down for officer safety.

If a cop asks you to roll your window down, how hard is that? The escalation of the whole incident begins with him. If he rolls his window down, gives the officer his license, and respects the requests given to him, he probably gets his ticket and goes on to the stadium. He can bitch and moan after the stop is completed and has begun to drive away. He got treated the same way a fan going to the game would have gotten treated if they had resisted the way he did. I have no pity for him.

One big difference is the police had body cameras. But when people look at the footage they are seeing different things. I'm a old white guy. When I look at the full footage I saw a fancy car with very tinted windows going a lot faster than other cars. When the car pulled over he didn't roll down the window until the cop tapped on the glass. When he did roll down the window he said "don't tap on the window" like the cop was a valet and he was chewing him out. Then he rolls up the very dark tinted window. I imagine that cops like to be able to see what the person is doing and that is why he told him to keep the window rolled down. At that point it is a safety issue.

The same people who fiercely defend every inch of the 2nd Amendment often seem to disregard the 4th. Tyreek’s only lawful order during the encounter was to provide his license and registration. "Rolling your window down" is not a lawful order, and compliance is not required unless you're being detained for a criminal investigation, which a speeding ticket is not. To claim that "they didn’t know who these people are" is misleading, as the officer clearly said "that’s Tyreek Hill" before making contact, right in front of Hard Rock Stadium, just before the opening game. Even if you’re not a football fan, any officer assigned to patrol Hard Rock Stadium should have the situational awareness, maturity, and professionalism to recognize that this was never going to be a dangerous situation unless escalated. Tyreek exercised his 4th Amendment rights perfectly, regardless of his attitude toward the police. These are our rights as citizens, and they deserve as much protection as people afford the 2nd Amendment.

The problem is that they can only hire the bottom of the barrel. The most ignorant guys with no education end of as policeman. We need a professional, well paid and well trained police.
